computerised accounting software ( Sage Accounts Production- widely used in small & medium size accountancy firms) I sure Sage would allow a free trial prior to purchase.

    Hi Tregan,

I work in practice (http://www.gprandassoc.ie/) and am qualified a couple of years. We have numerous clients who use Sage and Tas books.

I also do some bookkeeping on the side for a couple of company's using Tas books 2.

Im originally from Balbriggan and am back regularly at the weekend to see the parents.

Anyway i'd be more than happy to talk to you about the merits of each and/or help you get started on these at less than the price of a full course.

If you are interested Pm me.

    Regards,

    Brian

thanks for that brian, any chance you are around balbriggan this weekend?

p.s. can TAS be converted to Sage easily?

Sage / Tas offices are in Citywest and they have a training centre there where courses on both are run.

With regard to transferring data between different packages only static data - customer and suppliers names and addresses, product codes, nominal codes can be brought across from one to the other as they are completely different software packages.

However if you start on Instant accounts you can bring all of your data across to Sage 50 which is a bigger version of this product. Similarly if you start on a lower level Tas product such as First Books / Tas Basics you can bring all of your data over if you upgrade to Tas Books or Tas Books with stock.
