I can't find any details on Mr Price who seems to be running a very slick well organised campaign and has posters up all over the country. They seem to have had the foresight to wait till everyone elses posters blew down before they erected theirs. This is the most foresight I've seen from any Party for a long time !! Whenever he or they make themselves known they have my NO 1.

Would it be possible to add a Party called "None of the above" with candidates in each constituency (Nota Mayo, Nota, Cork Central etc.)

It's to represent the point at which you are using your vote to block other candidates lower down.

That we could gauge how / when people were voting positively or negatively. Perhaps less people would spoil their votes.

Really looking forward to seeing how the STV affects the poll! Great job on this, guys. I think the age bias is very clear, but it is a worthwhile exercise nonetheless.

Yes, a very worthwhile effort in spite of the difficulties of making it truly representative. It's about time so-called pollsters ask would be voters for all of their preferences. They have been far too lazy for a long time.

to all independent candidates for Wicklow

Now that we know how many independent candidates are standing for Wicklow I am calling on all of them to come together and demonstrate our willingness to work together for Wicklow and Ireland .I would be happy to discuss a broad alliance on policies and issues for Wicklow and the Irish nation. This would be a demonstration to the voters of Wicklow that we the independents are ready to work together and we are not a bunch of maverick individuals as described by some people from the established political parties.
As Independents we must be prepared to break the strangle hold of the established political machinery of Fianna Fail, Fine Gael and the Labour Party

Oops! Looks like there was a last minute glitch with that particular candidate. :D However, an independent, Michael O'Sullivan, now appears to be confirmed within the same constituency.

Is there no Sinn Fein candidate running in Clare?I thought that they would have got a lot of votes from disgruntled FF supporters who would baulk at the thoughts of voting FG or Labour.

One can only assume that things have evolved as the full line up of candidates became available. In this poll, people are allowed change their choices and only the last one counts.

There are 24 candidates in Wicklow

    You are missing

    Kevin Carroll
    Anthony Fitzgerald
    Donal Kiernan
    Jim Tallon

and Bob Kearns is not a candidate

It was so much easier to blame it on Them. It was bleakly depressing to think that They were Us. If it was Them, then nothing was anyone's fault. If it was us, what did that make Me? After all, I'm one of Us. I must be. I've certainly never thought of myself as one of Them. No one ever thinks of themselves as one of Them. We're always one of Us. It's Them that do the bad things.

They may be candidates and CPPC members, but the CPPC isn't registered.
