Had the chilli for dinner tonight...pretty good, better than any other ready meals ive had. (also better than the one I make myself!!)

Pretty handy for the late shift in work  ive stocked up!

They're on offer at Superquinn too for €3. The full range. Got the chicken casserole yesterday. Very tasty. Offer finishes today though. :(

Can someone check the label and see if they are suitable for freezing?

    From superquinn's online shopping website:
    Storage Information
0°C-4°C. Keep chilled. WE DO NOT RECOMMEND FREEZING BUT IF YOU DO, USE WITHIN ONE MONTH.

Ha, ha, how dare they try to bulk out their home cooked meals with veg and fruit and the likes ;)

I agree, and a little bland also.

Huh, their food is fine. It's great to have a stock of it in the fridge when you're caught for time especially.

By the way, their curry cant cater for all tastes, I sometimes add a bit of powder if I want an extra hot curry.

It's hard to beat the Fish pie on a cold day!:pac:

People who eat 5hite like microwave meals are allergic to fruit and veg!

Yum! I may be biased because I hadn't eaten all day due to travel delays, but when I tried their Chicken Curry in December it was amazingly satisfying! Haven't tried them since, but at €2.99 I just might...

Anyone I know who's had them, likes them.

I love the Chicken Casserole but its full of veg so if you want a ready meal that tastes like real food then this isn't for you!!

Not mad on the chicken curry so that kinda put me off their ready meal range, however their soups and pies are lovely.

I have their chicken and veg soup a few times a week for lunch.

They had a promotional stall at electric picnic last year giving away free samples, kept me fed!

That doesnt make sense. Why would vegetable not taste like real food?

Never had the curry, dont know how anyone could expect a spectacular curry from a microwave. Their soups, chicken pie and chicken casserole and irish stew are all great though, probably the best microwave meals going though

I've bought the chilli before and thought it was grand ,but it's a bit expensive at 3.99.
This offer price is just about right for it.

    Tried a chicken curry.
    Tasted good.
I guess it's down to your own tastes, I like a fruity curry.

All I'll say is have a look at the amount of salt in their products versus the daily recommended amount.

    You won't eat one again...

What I dont understand is that all these meals have crazy ammounts of salt in them, and they are still bland as f**k. How is that?

I like their various soups. May have to try their meals.

Probably the best ready meals on the market at the moment IMO. Love the Chilli, and both the Chicken Curry and Beef Stew are tasty enough.

Though should however settle on 2.99 as the selling price - they seem to be on offer at this price once every 2-3 months.
