You know OP, it's not easy to break a habit of typing "lol" since people have been using it for many years. I could try to break the habit now but I'm glad that I don't say "lol" in real life at least...that's quite geeky...not that I don't like geeks...*laughs*

First time i saw people using 'lol' was about 5 years ago when nerding it up playing some American's on COD before it became socially acceptable to play games online.

I thought everyone was typing 'lots of love' which pretty much confirmed the stereotype of people on the internet being raging pedophiles for me at the time.
