Hi all Question...port 525

    Hi just did a quick scan and all my ports are stealthed except for port 525
    does anyone know what this is for and why is it not stealthed

    here is a list of all the ports

    525 is used by timeservers.

    do you have windows automatically update the time?

    Cheers I'll check. I thought it meant a timed server as oppose to a time server

    i turned off the auto time update and duely port 525 closed followed shortly by port 554 opening up

    i think this is due to quicktime though

    554 TCP UDP Real Time Streaming Protocol (RTSP)
