Never seen that much marble outside of a cathedral.

After the property crash you'll be able to pick this up for a fiver. If you pay anything more than that you're a chump.

Chav Palace is the name on the wall outside it. Drove past it once, has a pink stretch limo round the back.

Finance said property from €11665 per month

This is right beside the price. Mad out of it

Is it me or does every room look the same? Goes to show money cant buy you style

I would love to have a gaff with 8 bathrooms

I would take a dump in a different one every day.

It would even leave one extra for those hungover days where I do a morning dump, and another dump after eating 2 Big Mac meals and a caramel sundae for breakfast at around 5pm

They're ten a penny in this country, theres only so much land you can use. I couldn't live in a house like that.

3.2 million!!!. someones been on the jungle juice again:D, might get 300k at auction if he is very lucky.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 2,808 ✭✭✭Ste.phen

I dunno, I don't actually like it; it looks like it's a reasonably new build but designed to look older and if that's the case they really screwed up.

The whole thing looks like a tiny hotel, but without being styled to appear like it's actually comfortable to live in...
I *do* like the pool though, i gotta give them props for that

I'd love to throw a tin of red paint against the wall. It's so dull.

The inside looks very cold and near hospital like, boring and neutral.

  • Closed Accounts Posts: 3,489 ✭✭✭iMax

The amenities etc are great, but does anyone think the rooms seem a little on the small side (width). Pic 3 is of the living room & it just seems like a long thin room, If I was paying that money, I want a big square room, I can hold parties in. Alto, the tiled floors in the bedrooms... Don't live in a continental hotel, so no thanks...

It's near to me & the estate it's in is 3/4 built with massive houses but also some empty, fenced off plots in varying stages of completion, the roads are unfinished & almost all the houses are up for sale.

  • Closed Accounts Posts: 1,512 ✭✭✭u140acro3xs7dm

Its also possible they got the painters in before it went on the market. One thing I have learned been on the dole is that you should paint all your walls a neutral colour before selling. Homes under the hammer i think it was that thought me that.

Another thing ive learned is that i cant afford gaffs like that.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 2,087 ✭✭✭paddydriver

Looks like high maintenance to me.. can you imagine the dust balls blowing all round those tiled floors.

Its up there over 400 days! Just shows how times have changed - 4 years ago some poor sod would have paid €15m for it.... well maybe not poor at the time:p

I'll give him €200 for the pool table. WE can do a deal for the tiles off the roof and the copper.

So Wayne Rooney could use spare the money he uses to wipe his arse and buy this?

    Looks tacky imo.

I have been in a few new build houses on Westminster road in Foxrock and this doesnt even compare but I doubt youll get pics of what they are like on the inside online.

I was lookin for the illuminous 14 stone wedding dress hangin in the walk in wardrobes

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 1,134 ✭✭✭Duddy

Can you imagine sliding about in socked feet in it:P

Apart from that, I'd want a decent carpet before I would buy it..

  • Closed Accounts Posts: 415 ✭✭Holybejaysus

Tacky. Tacky. Tacky. Like something you'd see on my Big Fat Gypsy Wedding.

It symbolises the Celtic Tiger perfectly for me. It wouldn't be Alison O Riordan's place would it? :p

What about the fireplace there, it'll be hard to get rid of but I'll do him a deal and only charge him €20 to take it away.

they are a waste of space, wouldnt even want that much space in each room, pointless. Would rather if there was actually stuff to do in them. There are those house in dalkey that costs 6 mil, the row of houses that descend to the sea?

I've actually driven all over that are taking pictures of the sea and buildings and things, sad indeed :p

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 5,734 ✭✭✭Duckworth_Luas

That building is 10 to 15 years old, a monument to the kind of tacky, soulless buildings that were crapped out during the boom. As classy as the Blanchardstown Shopping Centre.

Im sure if you could afford it you could afford an army of cleaners to ensure there are no dust balls

I could never live in a house like that,it's far too big and flashy, you won't need to go into some of the rooms from one end of the year to the next.
The hall/staircase looks elegant if a little sterile, fine for an old country mansion but misplaced in this footballers wives wet dream.
