I got some in River Island for €13 and some in H&M for €6.95 and they are both good quality.

I find the RI ones a bit softer than the H&M ones and the H&M leggings have a 'shine' off them and they feel a bit tight (no I didn't get the wrong size & the bigger size is too big) the RI ones fit perfectly.

Out of both of them, I'd prefer the River Island ones.

I have a pair from Dunnes and after a few (less than five) wear and washes they went baggy, so while they are 'cheap' in the long run, buying a more expensive pair will work out cheaper as you won't have to buy a new pair every few weeks as they will last, unlike the Dunnes leggings.

i got a nice pair in miss selfridge a while ago they were a bit thicker and much less baggy than the ones from penneys I dont think they were too expensive either

Marks & Spencers have the nicest good quality leggings. They have them in lots of colours and lengths and they're a really soft material.

I think leggings from Topshop are the best quality - come in loads of different colours, patterns, leg lengths etc.

I completely disagree about Topshop. They are almost see-through :( I wouldn't recommend them at all.

I got a pair about 4 years ago from A wear and they are still perfect.

Got a pair in river island and while they aren't see through, the black dye has faded to a greyish brownish black.

I got a really nice, good quality pair from American Apparel, but they were a bit pricey - as most things in there tend to be.

I got 3 pairs in A-wear last year 12 euro each, was evening wearing them when I went in to labour at my most whale like point! My SIL gave me lovely H+M black legging that were more like v. high quality tights and I lived in them also until 3 months after baby was born as they came up really high and kept all wobbly bits in check.

I've bought a few pairs from H+M over the past few months and they're keeping quite well
