    Hi guys,

Looking for a live performer/act to play weekly cover gigs as a 'house band'-type to keep the crowd lively during interludes in a talk show that I run. Ideally it'll be a one- or two-set who play acoustic as set up is already quite complex so accommodating a full band on stage isn't ideal.

This gig will start Tuesday 22nd February and run until May. So you must be available every Tuesday night.

The demo is young (18-30) and mainly chart-centric so anyone doing acoustic chart covers will go straight to the top of the queue. Age or location isn't an issue...as long as you can tick these boxes.

There is no pay involved so the gig would suit someone starting out looking to get experience. HOWEVER, you will be playing in Captain's Live, Blanchardstown each week so there's great exposure. Do a good job and paid gigs will follow as you'll have the right people hearing you. Plus it's a nice way to build a following since you'll be playing to essentially the same people each week. We'll also be able to use the show's iTunes podcast to give you some promotion.

It's a great opportunity for beginners looking to get a foot in the door.

Apply via email to info@amtlive.ie with contact info and ideally provide a sample of your work. You may be called for audition on the afternoon of 22nd February so keep that in mind too.

Application deadline is Tuesday 15th February. If you have any further enquiries please email or post here. Thanks.

Relax man. The old consumer affairs routine doesn't work if I said it myself. People can read for themselves.

This prob isn't happening btw so no more applications are needed. Will get back to people personally asap.

Would have loved to have paid people tbh but there just wasn't the budget or demand for it. Twas an idea aimed at someone looking to get experience, that's all!
