oil leak help

    put the motor in for an nct and it flew through everything apart from one visual i have to go back for. yer man said there is oil splashed around underneath, basically said to me then to powerhose it off and book it back in and if there is no sign of oil then it will be grand. now i wouldnt mind finding out what the leak is to make sure its nothing serious. so if anyone has any ramps and could take a look, obviously a few quid for whoever i go to and maybe even a little work im in kildare myself. the car is zafira gsi, it has the z20let engine. there are a few little drops on the driveway but nothing major.

    I'd say you'll have to scrape and / or powerwash it off to find the source. It could be just a gasket, possibly at the oil filter. Either way, it shouldn't be a big deal to sort it.

    yeah was planning on jacking it up and giving her a blast of the powerhose first before i take her anywhere. she drives really well and doesnt smoke or anything, she got a new turbo fitted not long before i got her so maybe its old oil with a bit of luck, ive heard the oil feed pipe at the turbo can leak or at the oil level sensor.
