Tennis rules question

Can you someone help me with this rules query? Was playing a game yesterday (yes in the wind and rain) during a game a shot came over the net and bounced on my side of the court, I was with the wind, the wind caught the ball and blew it back over the net without me touching the ball to the other side where it bounced twice. In this case who should win the point?

In that specific case, your opponent won the point because you didn't hit the ball before the second bounce (doesn't matter where that second bounce was). You are allowed to follow the ball over the net in such a situation to hit it, even if it is on your opponents side of the net when you actually hit it, as long as you don't touch the net or your opponents side of the court (and obviously as long as you don't touch or interfere with your opponent!).
