connemarathon refund

    Have entered the connemara half but dont think ill be able to run as I've another competition either the night before of the same day. I know you can defer for a year but does anyone know if you can get a refund??/change name on race number?

    Don't think you'll get a refund, but the option to defer an entry till next year is good to have. Not perfect but better than most other pay-races.

    Best you can hope for I'd say is a defer and thats them being very reasonable,

    Given the cost of entry I'm amazed somebody wouldn't be 100% sure they can commit to the race before entering.

    It sells out pretty early these days, so you have to decide months in advance.
    I'm in the process of looking for a deferral, as real life has a habit of making a mockery of the best laid plans...

    Didn't sell out very fast this year, I know because I was debating entering for atleast 3 months before it was booked up fully :)

    I missed registration by a few days. So it sold out alot faster than I expected. Next year sure.
