    Would you like to have your say on what is important in your community? Have you ideas about how community services could be improved? Do you believe that your area needs more community activity?

    Fingal LEADER Partnership’s Community Development Team is currently holding a community consultation to feed into the Local Community Development Programme (LCDP) Strategic Plan for the Fingal area which will run from 2011 to 2014. The survey is available at https://www.surveymonkey.com/s/FLPcommsurvey or by contacting our office at 01-8020484. We will have paper copies available to be filled out and returned for those who do not have access to a computer. If you have additional requirements and need more support filling out the survey please just contact us at hduffy@fingalleaderpartnership.ie or ring 01-8020484. We would like to hear from anyone who lives in the Fingal community east of the N2. A separate survey is being distributed to community groups and agencies so if you wish to find out more information about this please again contact hduffy@fingalleaderpartnership.ie or ring 01-8020484.

    The Local Development Community Development Programme is focused on four goals;

    ● Promote awareness, knowledge and uptake of a wide range of statutory, voluntary and community services.

    ● Increase access to formal and informal educational, recreational and cultural activities and resources.

    ● Increase in people’s work readiness and employment prospects.

    ● Promote engagement with policy, practice, and decision making processes on matters affecting local communities.

    This survey focuses on the issues affecting communities and gives people the opportunity to have their say on where our resources should be allocated for the next three years. The allocation of resources is based upon identified needs so please encourage others to have their say also. There is no age limit. If you require further information please contact Helen Duffy at 01-8020484 or log on to our survey.
