The world championships in 25m and 50m Benchrest Rifle (Air Rifle and .22 Rimfire)
will be held in the Palmetto Gun Club, Charleston, South Carolina, USA
    from July 30th to August 7th 2011.

Due to the high cost (estimate a travel and subsistence cost of €3000 to €3,500 per competitor)and the current difficult economic climate, it has been decided to waive the official qualification procedures and invite applications from interested shooters.

Of course a certain level of proven capability in Sporter, LV or HV is still required.
Any of us not consistently shooting in the 240s over 50m would have no point being there.

The competition is for individual and teams of 3. It is shot over 3 cards on the same day per class.

Go to www.wrabf.com for more details.

If you intend to take part in this event this must be co-ordinated through the WRABF representatives in Ireland, namely the NBAI.

If you have any questions please contact John O Sullivan of the NBAI josulliv@iol.ie or
the NASRPCs Benchrest Rifle National Discipline Co-ordinator benchrestrifle@nasrpc.ie
