more CO2 in your exhaled breath, which is what plants use to harness sunlight through photosynthesis, so... yes.

I remember the Mythbusters trying various things years ago, and IIRC Death Metal was a bit better than Classical, and both were much better than talking nicely or harshly. Headbanging Sweet Peas ... the mind boggles.

You are the type of what the age is searching for, and what it is afraid it has found. I am so glad that you have never done anything, never carved a statue, or painted a picture, or produced anything outside of yourself! Life has been your art. You have set yourself to music. Your days are your sonnets.

I sometimes talk to my basil plant, Chris...:o He grows amazingly well. However, I tend to avoid eye contact and not talk to him when I need to use him in cooking....

    /toddles off to nut house..:):pac:

Ah, that would have been too easy.... I had a coriander plant called Trevor once. So fookin' high maintenance, no matter how much I spoke to him or watered him. f*ckin' whingey brown head on him... So I let him die.... YEAH.. ha ha.

This is all true. I'm aware it sounds a bit nuts though.. he he.:o

I don't know if talking to your plants helps them grow but I do know that you bowl better if you sing to your bowling ball.

Might improve the plant. Might not improve one's mental health.

Reminds me of that programme on Channel 4, Amish: The World's Squarest Teenagers. One of the Amish fellas informed us that rock music kills plants.
