I recently bought a Tokyo Marui M4 S-System but Im not too fond of the rear stock. I find it uncomfortable to shoulder.

From what I can see amoung Irish retailers, the only other option is a Magpul stock- but I don't particularlly want an M4 that resembles a laser gun.

What other types of stocks are out there for a TM M4? Pref. ones that look well against the RIS of a S-System.

These babies dont come cheap-why not try a crane stock-you must know someone with one on an aeg that you could 'TRY BEFORE YOU BUY' just slides onto your existing stocktube:)

there is the original 4 point stock, LE stock (modern 6 position stock) Crane, VLTOR, socom, and many others.... magpul is merely one option... not everyone likes skanger me slingbacker with 'gucci' so there is a huge selection still.

I'm looking for a stock for comfort over aesthetics really. If it looks well against the row I'd be happy too. Any suggestions?

Cranes are very comfy, good cheek weld, and nicely ajustable. Out of interest, what type stock do you have now? the oldschool m4 one?

    Yeah the steroetypical m4 stock.

Edit: Crane looks nice but can you get one capable of housing a standard 8.4v mini? Would be a better battery space then the current ris location.

There is no necessity to move to move your battery from the ris although you could if you wish-it would allow you to use a higher output cranestock type battery, the fact your marui is standard you would be best to stick with your8.4v mini-All you would be doing is sliding off your standard LE type and the crane slides directly on in its place and incidentally-comfort and aesthetics aside it will match your aeg perfectly-that is to say it will look like it belongs there:)

cranes take a crane type battery, so it can move out of the ris if you like... and they can be much higher MAH than a mini... (lasts longer)

I do find that there is some nack to getting the battery to sit into the RIS of the Marui. Im getting better at it, but its takes a good 2/3mins to change the battery. Is that normal? Is there some easy-to-fix solution to it? WOuld shortening the overall wire on the battery help?
