Bought an Electric tootbrush and need to change two to three pin.

The two pin plug looks a bit different to a normal two pin, any reason why I cannot snip it off and replace with a three pin

    2 pics attached

    Thanks

You cannot just cut that off, it will not work otherwise. Your only solution is to get an adapter for the plug itself, like them travel plugs to convert 2pin to 3 pin.

Edit: Or try and perhaps buy a whole new 3pin charging dock if possible.

I had the same problem with a laptop charger from Dell

I just snipped the plug off, stripped the wires back and wired it onto a 3 pin plug from Woodies. Worked fine.

    Brown to Fuse.
    Yellow/Green to Top.
    Blue to the Left.

Although I'd wait until someone with more experience with electrics answers :D

you won't be able to snip it off
you'll need to use an adaptor if it's outside a bathroom

Looks like it may have a RCD built into it. Obviously a saftey feature for bathroom use.
It could also be a step down transformer supplying low voltage DC.
    No info in the instructions?
I don't think you are supposed to have a 3 pin in the bathroom any way. Only 2 pin shaver socket.

    it's not an rcd

it's just a trafo or power supply with a variable input 100-240 for travel

bathroom sockets are isolated -rcds are no benefit

most good hardwares and electrical shops will keep em
