    Hey im looking to buy the Samson c01u usb condenser microphone ... But the problem is i dont know where to buy it in Dublin .... Do you guys know where i can buy this item ? Please help ... Thanks

    Any reason this mic? There are plenty of decent consendors out there I'd recommend, but Samson wouldn't be on the list.

    If you click on the Irish flag in the Thomann website they will deliver to Ireland and charge VAT at 21% for Irish tax authorities. The Device you are looking for is http://www.thomann.de/ie/samson_c01u.htm and costs 66 euro. Thomann charge 15 euros delivery on orders below 199 euro.

    Usb mic's are awful. Your better off gettin a interface and a microphone

    I Don't know what your budget is but I'm with Off.The.Walls on this one.

    Microphones are one piece of equipment that you really can't cut corners on. I've achieved some good results with the t-bone sc600 through a USB interface (alesis multimix 8. only 16bit 48khz sample rates, not exactly professional standard but OK if mp3 is your target format) using the ART tube mp preamp.
    The mic and valve preamp are available as a bundle on Thomann (I use them a lot and they've never let me down) http://http://www.thomann.de/ie/the_tbone_sc600_bundle.htm

    This does work out considerably more expensive than the samson USB mic as you would need an interface too.

    All costs involved with ordering from them are listed when you order. The prices on the site include VAT and there's no import duty on their products because they're in the EU. Shipping is free on all orders over €199.

    If you let me know what you're planning on using the mic for, I might be able to offer some suggestions.
