Cheapest Place to get Rack and Weights?

At the moment I am using a standard bench and barbell that I got from argos. I feel I've outgrown it at this stage and need something more substantial.

I was looking into getting a power rack, bench and olympic barbell and weights. Is there anywhere that would do a deal if I purchased all of these, or where would be the cheapest place to get them?

I've looked second hand on adverts.ie but they all seem to be a minimum of €800! A bit out of my price bracket. Any suggestions would be appreciated!

Just an opinion - don't focus on the cheapest price.

Try and source good second hand equipment at a fair price or even new off the likes of irish-lifting.com.

The last thing you need when lifting heavy or near your max is question marks over the build quality of the equipment you are using etc.

It says the max weight is 180kg and I am nowhere near that so I think I'm pretty safe with that one! Any opinions on it?

Im sure the delivery cost for the one you were looking at would be quite alot because its coming from the UK. Well when I added the package to the basket and entered my details it said that delivery was £42, which is pretty good! The total price for that power rack, bench and olympic bar and weights comes to around €650. I'm struggling to find any cheaper!

the bench in that link looks quite cushiony. don't know if it actually is.

But, personally a cushiony bench is no good. Lots of people get more out of a simpler, hard, steady bench.

May not be an issue for you though, just sayin.
