Have many been listening to this new station. Just came across it the other morning. Think it's brillant. Just the reception kinda goes fuzzy every minute or so. Hope they fix that. God bless their work.

I can't get it in my house at all. Was looking forward to listening to a Christian radio station without having to turn on my PC. Have really enjoyed the bit of it I have heard though. I like the fact that they're playing some secular music as well.Hopefully as you've mentioned, they're just having teething problems and it'll get sorted soon...

Found myself tuned to this at 8 am for the news by accident, I can't remember seeing them listed in the JNLR ratings,
but they do include this on their website
    Growing, Active Listenership

Independent surveys by RedC and AskChili commissioned by Spirit Radio in February 2012, indicate that our listenership is growing faster than anticipated. The research points to a weekly listenership of 165,000 people across the nation.

    do they carry advertising?

Not much, as a charity they rely on personal donations, preferably regular ones by standing order. Every so often they run fundraising drives..

I tuned in once or twice out of curiosity, the music definitely isn't to my taste! As regards advertising, there certainly used to be a little but not much. Des Kelly carpets seemed to advertise on them quite a bit. As homer said, they have a lot of pledge drives much as PBS do in the US.

I have to wonder what a christian station is doing playing secular music. Are there not enough secular stations out there?
