I propose that we should introduce a ban on bailouts in Ireland. From the beginning I always said the bailing out the banks was a bad idea. I was proven correct as usual. The consequences of these bailouts are that current and future generations of Irish taxpayers have been sold off into debt bondage. Something like this should never be allowed to happen again. Therefore we need a law banning politicians to bail out any failed corporation.

    You certainly have confidence anyway:D
I think every situation is different, and I dont think a complete 100% blanket ban on any form of bank bailouts is the solution.
Obviously this particular time it has been a complete disaster though.
