    Hi,

Am looking into buying if possible!! My partner has a long term illness(liver disease). This does not affect him at all, he's well able to work etc and will be starting treatment in next year or so which will cure it.

I'm wondering what the story will be with the insurance that goes along with a mortgage. Would we be refused because of this or would premiums be sky high??

    Any info appreciated

Only way to know for sure is to apply and not lie.

Premiums will be higher, he'll have to go for a medical with the insurers and provide reams of paper work.

His own doc will make a report. He will need to go for a medical. They may load the premium depending on prognosis
