AH is not a cross section of society, it's a cross section of bored f*ckers with a lot of time to spend on the internet.

I agree it is a cesspit and that very little of value is ever contributed, it barely makes me laugh and half of the users are probably a bit slow. But I'm f*cking bored so whatever.

I'm not a regular AH reader or poster - I normally end up here via New Posts. My 2c: AH has a low S/N ratio, but many threads rise way above the average. I have read some deep, quality threads here.
