    Afternoon all.

Like the title says, I'm gonna start ripping my bluray collection, but I want to be able to watch them "as God intended". I don't want to start downmixing the audio.
So basically I'm looking for a good/excellent media player that'll take my lossless rip, play both the audio and video losslessly, and not cost an arm and a leg.
If it had a nice/customisable UI, and built-in HDD, that'd be even better!

I've looked at a few things, but there's so much information and choice out there, I'm afraid of making a mistake.

    Thanks.
    Soarer.

To answer my own query, I decided to go for the Smart D1 from Amazon. Also bought a 2tb seagate hdd. Total came to around £290 delivered. Looking forward to getting up and running now.
The upgradeability of the D1 was a major factor.

How did you manage that? I had a look there on Amazon.co.uk and for the D1 and a 2TB WD HDD it was £330 (€407) with free delivery on the HDD. Amazon seems to be a rip off anyway, I went directly to the site Amazon was ordering it from KJ Global and the price on their site is €222. Thats incl VAT! Thats cheaper than Amazon are charging in sterling!

Needless to say I will be ordering direct and saving €200 quid! :D

You obviously didn't research it properly, and I certainly wouldn't order from KJ unless you want to waste money!

I just checked KJ Global there, and the total for the D1 with shipping to Ireland comes to £247. I paid £222 delivered.
Click here to see the different options. I ordered from Atelco Computers (the first one on the list).
Then I ordered a 2TB Seagate HDD direct from Amazon for £70.76.

So all in, I paid £292.76 delivered for my Dune D1 with a 2TB HDD.
