I have a question: I want to do Law in UCC, the code for this course is CK301. In order to do this course, you have to do either BBSAX, BBSXX, BLSXX. The requirement is that the Fetac MUST include the following modules: Business Law, Legal Studies and Communications.

( scroll down to page 15)

Well, I just found a course at Limerick Senior College called Legal Administration.

    http://www.lcfe.ie/DAY-COURSES/School-of-Business,-IT-and-Media/Business-Department/Legal-Administration.aspx

The code for this course does not match any of the ones on the UCC Links booklet. However, this course satisfies the requirements for doing Law in UCC, as in, it has all 3 of the must-need modules: Business Law, Legal Studies and Communications.

What I want to know is, if I do this course that is Limerick senior college, will I be able to get into UCC Law or not? I really need to know this because I think I should still be able to, due to the fact the course is called ''Legal Administration'' and has all 3 must need modules. Does the fact the code is different matter?

Someone please answer this question. Thank you very much.

Yes it does matter - you must do the correct award with the right combination of modules. The awards that UCC are seeking are Business style awards - not Administration awards and there is a difference in the emphasis.
