Quick question: is Business law and Business administration the same module with different names? I need to know because I'm planning on doing CK301 in Cork (Law) by doing a FETAC first. They except this Fetac only if it includes the following:

    Business Law
    Legal Studies
    Communication

In the Legal Office Administration course I am planning to do, it has both legal studies and communications, but it has a thing called ''Business Administration'' I want to know if that is basically the same thing as ''Business law''?

Sorry if my question is seen as stupid but I am really only asking this question because I need a solid answer and my guidance counselor from my previous school is well... extremely unhelpful. Thanks.

No they are not the same. Stick with the module codes as your guide and not the module name and do the same with the award titles and code. Check out www.cao.ie and to follow the links for FETAC applicants to ascertain the codes of the modules and awards you need and check out www.fetac.ie for the names associated with the codes.

Get in writing from the PLC/FE college the details of the course with the codes as for marketing reasons many courses have different names.

Finally remember you will need to be getting distinctions in all modules. Competition for the limited n umber of places is very intense.

Thanks alot, yeah I figures that out awhile after - silly me! But thanks, shame though, I could have attended a local course and perhaps gained admission into Law in UCC.
