watching the events unfolding in the middle east over the last few days got me wondering are Irish people too complacent, I am not advocating that we shoud have done the same here to topple the FF regime..
do we take the status quo for granted with the usual excuse that "sure what can we do about it" we are notorious for not complaining about what ever the poor service we are not happy about..is it a lack of assertiveness or what, take foe example the differences between the water shortages in Dublin and Belfast after the recent cold weather, look at the different outcomes the those who were responcible
we certinly should not be restraining ourselves from being vocal to any canvassers for any political party, we should make it clear that we want a clear change in the whole process of running a country, and not just be happy with a change in governmental party
