Has this subject been discussed before? It seems strange that people without the movie/sports pack, but with everything else should pay the full 15 Euro for the Sky HD pack.

It's your choice if you do pay for it.

Absolutely but if your not getting all the HD channels a discount would be nice.:D I know we are talking about Sky....

I don't think we should have to €15 at all. At this stage it should be included. It can wok both ways, I understand what you mean, you have less HD stations so think you shouldn't pay as much, but I have Movies and Sports but with me paying quite a lot monthly I feel I shouldn't be paying more as they get enough out of me! :p

Sooner the fee is gone the better but cant see it happening for a long time yet unfortunately.

I can't make head nor arse of this, can someone please explain it to me.

I have a sky+ hd box. I have the variety pack, the music pack, the news, the docs, and sports.

I only just recently got a full HD tv, and only have access to BBC HD, ITV1 HD and BBC1 HD. Having watched the F1 and the golf over the weekend I wouldnt mind having a few more channels in HD.

So do I pay an extra €15 a month, and for that I got whatever HD channels are available on ALL the packs I have. Or is it €15 each per pack.
It's about as clear as mud on skys site.

    Cheers

It's the first option, you pay €15 and get the HD channels that are in the packs that you already have.

    +1

You'll only get the HD versions of channels you currently subscribe to (eg: as a Sports only subscriber you won't get all the HD movie channels as well)

The old system was way better - you would get all the HD channels excluding the premium sports and movies.

Even then I thought €15 was excessive so I never subscribed to it.

Sky make too much money from it. It is highly unlikely to be dropped any time soon.
