Lads, Alvaro Quiros just hit a drive and an iron to the 639-yard par-five 9th hole

He had 303 yards to the pin for his second...

If he wins and LW isn't second (I think) or if Kaymer is second an LW is outside the top 36 (or 46 or 56 or something!) then Kayme will be No 1

Hope that clears it up for ya :D :pac:

    Oh yea... blame me.

sadly big mick has bigger problems than me hexing him.

does he still have his masters exemption? didnt he have that former wallaby scrum-half caddying for him there last year?

and so continues the endless michael campbell quest. lord of the schwings.

Have to say i really enjoyed watching the majority of the pro's struggle today in the golf. They get it too easy at times and when the weather conditions are unfavourable, many of them cant hit the ball at all in the gales and rain unlike us regular folk who have to play in poor weather all year here in Ireland.
Thank God my bet Karlsson played fair well today :)

Quiros just drove the 307-yard short par four........ with an iron :D

He's quite something alright. i thought for a few holes there he was using a 3 quater length backswing and was amazed at how he could get such length with it... then got a good look at him and his takeaway acceration is unreal... just a blur... looked like 3 quater length but it almost disappears from sight at the top end. his club speed must be immense.

and he's a funny fcuker too!.. he has it all really.

shame about the 17th... would have loved to see somebody put the squeeze on grumpy bjorn in a playoff.

far play to TB tho... played some great approach shots in the closing holes.

Yeah it was a bit anti-climactic in the end, Quiros made an awful mess of 17. Clarke played quite well again. He seems to be hitting the ball as well as he ever has.
