Good broadband for home office

I have Vodafone at home running on a perlico wifi box through eircom landline etc. Basicly bog standard kit. I am working from home a lot and having problems with broadband "hanging" or "freezing" or "dropping", often while processing something online, losing all my work. Can people recommend anything a bit better / faster…

Same sittuation, Dublin 15 with Vodafone and same hanging dropping and anytime a call is made from landline it drops as well. UPC is my choice and heard PC World / Currys giving a gift voucher for new sign ups ??? Might investigate more !!
