Hi Guys i've no idea what way ferrys work so i've a few questions for ya'l...

I'm coming from holyhead by car on saturday, not sure what time i can make it for but basically the earlier the better, should i prebook a crossing(at the risk of missing it by being late) or just turn up and catch the next available ferry.

Is there a big price difference in paying as you go or should i prebook....OR can you even just turn up and jump on a ferry with a car or does it have to be booked?

    Thanks

You should be able to get one at the terminal, not sure what the price will be like though. Much safer to book first.

Check out the timetables though, because you could end up waiting for 8 hours.
