Which Insurance Companies insure sportier cars?

    Hey all.

Still planning to buy something sporty later this year ater I get my first years NCB and am over 25. Main front runners are the Honda S2000 and the Mazda RX-8, 240bhp and 230bhp respectively.

I've gotten a few quotes for the RX-8, but can't get one online for the S2000... so who are the companies to go to for insurance? AXA have stated they don't take on RX-8's with my (lack of) experience and age, and I'm not going to chance the €4000 excess from XS Direct or Britton. So who else is out there?

Try ringing an Insurance Broker, the have access to insurance companies and markets that you normally wouldn't.

Most companies will insure any car, provided the proposer meets their criteria. Shop around, ring every ins co and a good selection of brokers. Forget about online quotes, ring.

I've found 123.ie to be quite good in the past. I just checked the other day and I got quotes half of what I paid in the UK.
