employer has two company names and two employer numbers????

    the company i work for keeps changing the name it pays us from.
    Just recieved my p60 and it has a different name to what it has been paying from. And i checked my p60 with someone at work and the company name and employer numbers are both different in each p60.

    Can they do that or is it dodgy??

    Do you get payslips? If so, is the employer number on the payslips the same as the one on your P60?
    At the end of the day it's not really something I'd be overly concerned about from your point of view as an employee, as long as the figures on your P60 are correct..?

    i do get payslips, sometimes they are from the old company name, sometimes the new one. the two different names have different employer numbers. im in the middle of checking all my payslips to see if the tax is correct.

    Hmmm, that doesn't sound quite right, (it raises issues for the companies, as I imagine only one of them has your tax credits assigned to them). Strictly speaking you should be getting two P60s then... but again, as long as the one you have got shows your Pay/Tax etc correctly then you have nothing to worry about really...

    when i went over my p60 and last years payslips, they all added up ok. noticed they started changing this year. still doesnt explain why some employees have the old company name on their p60. im not concerned for me, just wanted to know if twas dodgy. i plan to leave my job asap for other reasons this just adds to it!!!!
