Maybe you ought to discipline the little scrote rather than reinforce the behaviour by laughing?

    Yes. Only scumbags swear.

Everyone who swears as a child will grow up to be a mugger/thief/murderer. Definitely.

    Fuck off

In saying that, my 4-year-old nephew turned around to his twin brother the other day and called him a "muppethead" :D I thought that was pretty funny. But I'd grimace if I heard them saying f*ck, sh*t or any of those.

a 2 year old?? a fookin 2 year old learning to express himself? better get him on the straight and narrow sooner rather than later. he'll be dealing in playschool at that rate.

Lil 'uns cursing does make me laugh I have to admit, I know I know, my bad! I'm always being told off by my friends for cursing in front of their kids and I take full credit for my friends 3 year old saying "ah f**k it" in his montessori class!:)

Your 2 year old is learning to express himself by throwing swearing tantrums.. You may not be looking for advice but I'm going to give it anyway. Finger painting.

this reminds me of when I was on the bus once, and some knacker was encouraging their kid to scream 'FCUK*OFF!' at people on the street. Classy.

Where would a two year old child even learn that sort of language?! :(

Hmm ... don't think it'll take me three guesses.

Some poor kids just don't have any chance in life. :(

He sounds like a little knacker. Maybe you should re-evaluate your parenting techniques and make the necessary changes.

I hate hearing kids swear in every day vocabulary but when ya hear kids too young to know better/in their copying everything everyone says stage, you just have to laugh!

Case in point my bf's 2year old sister.. I could say the most intelligent stuff and be trying to teach her words all day but the one time I stub my toe and scream 'sh*****tf**ckbastid!' is the one time she will repeat what I say for the next week straight!

Don't be worrying, it can be funny in the shock value sense when such words come out of such a little mouth.I remember my little girl said f**k when she was just beginning to speak and I nearly collapsed  esp since I made it as clear that no curse words where to be spoken within earshot- only way to decrease it is don't give him a reaction just respond by repeating what he said minus the curse...hopefully he'll use another way to express himself instead because it ain't gonna stay cute ;)

It wasn't a video, the OP just was posting about her 2 year old telling her to "F*ck up" in Dunnes the other day and how he sometimes has sweary rants and how amusing she finds it!

And I think something about her kid shooting up and overdosing.

my daughter muttered "fcukin rainin again" when she was little and tbh it was funny, but she'd sooner die than say a bad word normally :) 1
