    - Soldier on a train stormed by 40 armed robbers with knives & guns
    - Robbers tried to rape 18 y/o girl
    - Soldier intervenes, uses knife to kill 3 and injure 8

    I, personally, don't see too much of a problem. The Taliban obviously don't give western soldiers the same treatment - they do it when the soldier is still alive. Scum.

    Yep a definate hero he totally kicked ass,--those robbers absolutely got what they deserved, real scum of the earth. Goes to show training, protectiveness and courage goes a long way, it's pretty cool he was there and as the article says nobody should threaten his sister or family in any way, I'd say they're well proud of him. :)

    If it's true that is amazing, the Gurkhas are an incredible group of soldiers. Part of me believes it isn't true though, if there was 40 men all armed with weapons, some with guns I'm sure they could have taken him down one way or another.

    i dunno they were there to rob the place and when they saw a crazed little guy with a knife dropping the guys in front panic prob set in.

    Is not the first time a gurkha has taken on a far superior force on his own and won.

    I bet they were petty inexperienced criminals and when they saw the guy go berserk they bottled it and left. Probably thought "Oh he's no harm", paid dearly for it. Top man.
