Running clubs in the East of the city?

    Hi,
    I'm living in Lackagh, near Claregalway.
    Are there any running club/groups of people that meet to run/jog?

    I'm finding it hard to go running by myself but would be more inclined to if there was a group going.

    Clare River Harriers are in that vicinity but may not have any group training. How about asking at the fitness centre there in claregalway at the gaa pitches - they should know whats going on locally.

    There's a running club in Claregalway and they host a couple of really good races each year, a 5k as part of the County Series in April/May and a 10k later in the summer.
