Another Peugeot 5008 or Ford Grand C max question

    Can anyone help please?

The Peugeot looks the nicest inside and out especially with White leather.

The ford has a better engine 2 litre diesel as opposed to 1.6.

Is the Peugeot underpowered with 4 kids in? Is the ford sliding doors and 2/2/2 seat possibility a big advantage?

It's a tough question as to which is best. Does anyone have any thoughts please?

WhatCar? just tested them, the results were first 5008, then Touran, Scenic and New C Max last. C Max was criticised for being the least practical for families.

That answers that then. Thanks very much. Still a bit worried the Peugeot engine might be too tiddly. As usual you can get a better one in other markets but that's no use with a trade in

The Whatcar? test was all 1.6 litre diesel engines, I think they all faired quite well performance wise. Probably tardy though when loaded with 5 people and their luggage, but you're not going to be racing then anyway.

Those days are long gone. We also have a galaxy with a 1.8 diesel and it's fine full up so I guess the 5008 would be ok. The prices of full size people carriers are mental now. 45k for a new sharan bog spec?
