Replaced LCD

    Looking for a bit of help
    short story , dropped Laptop broke LCD back light

    Tried changing that gave up got replacement lcd.

    Installed as I have done many before.only this time . white arc's in the top and bottom left corners of the screen.

    Not sure what could be causing it as everything looks like its connected fine.

    see rather blurry image attached , but it gives u the idea

    That can happen if you use the wrong screw (i.e. one which is a bit too long) or the screen is slightly misfitted in a way that causes it to be pushed out.
