Quality of solar panels & solar tank

Have received quote for solar thermal panels & a large 1500lt solar tank. Problem is I'm not sure how good performance-wise each of them are.

Are there performance characteristic of efficiency standards, BS / EN etc.. that would give an indication of performance? Am most concerned at the rate of heat loss from the tank & how efficient the solar thermal collectors will be during the winter

Any advice appreciated

You have to ask the seller what the performance is.
Ask for a declaration that what he is selling is actually what was specified.

For DHW (from 6/2011) the provision must suit the demand.

And the demand must be calculated according to EN standards, see
