    Hey folks, just to let you know that the daft.ie and daft.com android apps are now available - written by myself and a very talented colleague :D

    Just installed it! brillant app and really easy to navigate! loads images super fast! top marks well done, absolutely delighted with it! :)

    It's Daft.ie (shows up on Android 2.2 anyway)

    Depending on how it was published, you may not see it listed if you have an older version of Android. The OP should be able to confirm.

    Yes the app is designed to support handsets running 1.6 upwards.

    I just searched for Daft, it was the third one down on the results :)

    bittihuduga, can you confirm your device and OS?

    EDIT: App is also only available in the UK and Irish Android markets, that could be why you're not seeing it.

    Looks great.

    There's a couple search filters missing that are on the website

    - Doesn't have property type filter so you can't filter out apartments if you only want to look at houses

    - Doesn't have min and max number of bedrooms to allow searching for a range e.g. if you want to look for 3+ bedroom houses you can't

    other than that it's great.

    Those options are available. Hit the menu button while in the refine search page and select "advanced search" :)

    Couple of things though:

    Is there a way to plot all properties on a map?
    Is there a way to narrow search based on house type (terrace, semi, detached)?

    Great job though.

    - Properties are plotted to a map when doing a nearby search. This may be extended in an update to encompass all searches
    - Not at the moment. Again that could be in a future update.

    The app has stopped working for me! Was fine for last 2 weeks or so but now says cannot connect to daft. I even uninstalled & reinstalled but same problem! Was good while it worked though

    We're having some tech problems here at the moment which is why the app can't connect. Hopefully we'll have it resolved soon. Thanks

    Downloaded the app today (Desire HD) and although connected to 12MB BB, it gets stuck searching - Hope you fix soon!
