Where do all the 30somethings go to meet people!

    As the title says im a single 30something and where do i go to meet people?!
    I dont mean dates as such but maybe mates too! Im not too into the club/pub type of thing so looking for something different.

    Any advice would be greatly accepted!

    what about all the 26 year olds?

    It was so much easier to blame it on Them. It was bleakly depressing to think that They were Us. If it was Them, then nothing was anyone's fault. If it was us, what did that make Me? After all, I'm one of Us. I must be. I've certainly never thought of myself as one of Them. No one ever thinks of themselves as one of Them. We're always one of Us. It's Them that do the bad things.

    Us 26 year olds have our own thread.

    Not only are us gays seemingly segregated from society, but us 26'ers are segregated from the gays! :D

    As with most things, the answers to big questions like this start from within.

    Find out what you do like, rather than worrying about how the things you do not like close certain avenues off for you.

    Then just throw yourself into the social side of whatever it is you like and meeting friends (and lovers) is something that simply sorts itself out.

    ...Take me for example... I am straight but I am on this forum cause I live with 2 girls in a "truple" rather than a couple, so I read a lot on this forum that affects us....

    ... I met the girls by simply going to live music which I love. I started joining the forums for bands I enjoy and organising pre-concert meet ups where the fans would get together, trade stories, show off tshirt, have beers. I met the girls through that, and a lot of my current friends....

    ... the three of us also go to Capoeira classes and we walk a lot. Member of many walking clubs and have friends from them too. There are even a lot of Gay orientated walking clubs around Dublin who go on day trips around the country and sometimes abroad....

    Simply find yourself and you will find everyone else there too.
