Passport for USA

    Hey guys, I'm going to new york next month and I'm worried about my passport, i have one which is in date but the corners are all turned up and its bit of a state! Will it be ok??

    Go to the Garda station maybe and see what they say? Or you could apply for a new one. You're not really providing too much of a description of the damage.

    It's really up to the customs person that issues the visa for you.
    As long as it looks ok and can be read by their machine it should be fine.

    Can you show us a picture? Block your personal info first.

    If flying from T2 you will clear US immigration & Customs also in Dublin.

    Unless it's very tatty and could appear to have been tampered with you'll be ok.

    You also have time to replace it if needs be.

    It depends how much of a "state" it's in. If the laminated part on the page with your photo is peeling back then look at getting a new passport because this could have been tamperd with in customs eyes. You still have time to get an express passport.
