Recommendation for a large capacity washing machine

I'm looking for some recommendations for a large capacity washing machine. I've taken a look at the LG 1443KD but have heard bad reports about the machine refusing to wash due to loads not being "balanced".

Are there any others people would recommend with a similar load capacity (11KG) ?

There's a good Nordmende 9kilo one at around the 400 mark with a 3 year p+l gaurantee. Can't think of any I'd reccommend with a 10 kilo plus one. That LG is ridiculous money if I remember correctly.

Thanks UrbanSea, will take a look at that Nordmende one. You're right, that LG one is close to a grand, hard enough to justify that price never mind the fact that it doesn't seem to work that well most of the time.

Would you need something up to 11 or something like a 9 be suitable? When you compare them in terms of price to size,it seems good the NordMende. Good machine too,just with the LG you get a 10 year guarantee on the motor,2 year P&L otherwise.
