Man-made sea pools? (Dublin/Wicklow area)

I was wondering if anyone knows of any man-made pools along the south Dublin coast?

I know of a couple in my old home town at Bundoran, one near the main beach, the thrup'penny pool, and this one, http://www.discoverbundoran.com/Uploads/coastal1.jpg in the west end, think it's called the Nuns pool.

Essentially, I'm looking for a sea pool that gets refreshed with the tides. Often made where there was a natural deep cutaway of rock, and bounded on the sea-side with a man-made wall to hold the water in when the tide goes out.

There's the crumbling remains of one in Bray called Naylor's Cove. You can see it quite clearly on Google, or even better on Bing Maps ...

It can be accessed by walking up the ramp at the southern end of Bray sea front and taking a path off to the left. See the Bing Maps link for more detail. BTW I wouldn't go down there at night, it's a bit of a haven for all kinds of dodgy activities by all accounts.

are the old rainbow rapids pools in dun laoghaire refreshed by the tide?

edit: or is it blackrock i'm thinking of?

There is a fairly small one at hawk cliff along the vico road in dublin. There are a good few mini fish species in there.

The one in DL really only gets filled by very high tides these days and is very silted up.

There is also the remains of a similar structure in Sandymount

There's an enclosed pool further south at Blackrock, beside a Dart station it seems. I don't know it though, could be inaccessable to the public, or fully silted up, looks like one end of it is beginning to silt up whenever those pictures were taken.

Anyone know it?

BTW, how do you get fresh links from google maps or bing? When I scroll around to a new location, the URL doesn't change.
