Part time work and JSA for young people

Looking for a bit of help if possible... If one was under the age of 25, I don't think dole can be claimed, but JSA. I believe it is also means-tested. However, if one is on reduced hours working part-time, I believe that JSA can be claimed for the remainder of the week. Is this correct? TIA:)
