Hair - going blonde

Hey ladies just wondered if anyone knows a good cheap mobile hairdresser in the clondalkin area have started going from brunette to blonde got a full head of highlights done before Christmas i want to be blonde blonde by May but times are a lil tough money wise at the minute but can't just leave my hair grow out coz it's already lookin awful (the regrowth)

Anyone got any tips or if maybe I'll be able to do it myself
just cant afford to pay over 100 quid to get it done in the hairdressers again

Hi OP, does it have to be a mobile hairdresser? If you weren't tied to that, perhaps get int ouch with a reputable salon and check when their student night are on (students are supervised).

Oh thanks no not at all just thought it would be cheaper there's a hairdressing school beside work on Thomas st called global hairdressing wonder if they'd be able to do it

I'm sure they would - not everywhere would do these sort of student deals, but worth a shot.

Also worth checking out Peter Mark on North Earl Street or they may still do the training in Stephens Green centre (very top floor), Toni&Guy (no idea if they do this, but again it's a big enough chain so they might), David Marshall Academy on Georges Street, Robert Chambers (Grafton Street and Liffey Street).

John Adams in Clerys also does the student thing on a Thursday evening... or is is Tuesdays... can't quite remember...

I've been stopped on the street several times by girls from peter marks asking me if I wanted my hair done..

If there's a fas training centre near you you could see if any of the trainees in there need a model...

OP - there are tonnes of special offers if you spend a little time ringing around. I'm not sure on the big salons in town (gave up on them a long time ago) but certainly as you move out of the city you see more and more special offers on.
I know that Khaki in Tallaght are doing an all over colour + cut for 49 euro during the week and I'm fairly sure they have some other good deals on too if its highlights you're after.

Like some other posters say, maybe the classes in the bigger salons may suit better...you can be left waiting for a while but it really is dirt cheap if you're willing to hang around.

A girl posted on our internal web in work about a mobile hairdresser so I gave her a call she did me a great deal full head of highlights (a tone more than I'd gotten inthe salon) for 40 (short hair) she was lovely even asked her to cut it for me and she said I charge 20 for a cut so i said sure and she actually cut it exactly how I described was sooooooo happy with it better cut than I've gotten in a salon no stray long bits anywhere (I've a graduated bob)
