O'Connells on Richmond street/Portabell, great little boozer, is it still going? Have only passed that way during the early afternoon and it wasn't open. Was talking about it Friday night and none of the party could say if it was open or closed. Can some one shed some light on this?

Lived 2/3 doors up from it for a year recently. Smashing place, a hidden gem.

Pass it all the time but had no idea it was a nice spot. What's the crowd like?

Crowd was crusty when I was there and the Guinness was fresh. Perfect!

    Best pub in the area,

lived around the corner for 8 years and was there a lot.
Even though I moved away I still regularly go in.

The place is spotless, and in my opinion its the best pint in Dublin.. 4 Euro a pint too..

Jaysus I think I'll go in today :D
