Jeffster "Push it!" = legendary! :D
Bloody awesome!, i fell off the couch laughing :D
Chuck 'n Sara getting hitched?....end of the Volkoff arc?...kinda abrupt end no?

Shizzle....no need to review anything else, even baby Bartowski can't beat the Jeffster! ;)

    Fun episode... really good!

They needed to end on a twist though (like the time they took down Chevy Chase and the episode ended with him thumbing a lift to Burbank).

If they knew that this was the last season, they could also have killed Casey off in this episode too (they could have found out about Johns death just after Clara was born - nice juxtaposition of life and death).

Ah lots of "what ifs" ... still a brilliant episode though!

Greatest episode of Chuck ever and probably one of the best episodes of any of this type of comedy-drama-action show ever.

10/10 for me, this is Chuck at its best.

Brilliant ep, and just as my interest in Chuck was starting to wane. Felt like it was about 90 minutes long aswell (in a good way).

The way the episode was leading up to the end, i was thinking something bad is going to happen

    - Awesome would be killed
    - The nurse would kill Chucks mum
    - Casey would be dead
    - The way it ended closing on the janitor was expecting something to happen there

How many more episodes this season or was that a finale?

That was episode 13, which was what the original order was, but an additional 11 episodes were ordered to bring the season total up to 24 according to Wikipedia, so we are just over half way through. The reason for the season finale feeling to it is because that is what it was originally supposed to be. It's good that they decided to finish that story arc off as planned rather than trying to spread it out and risk having it start to drag on.

hmmm, so if that was the intended finale and they didn't change it,

it seems it would be the end of chuck, no new bad guy, no cliffhanger, just a nice happy ending.

Wonder if it will get another season or is this the winding up of the show?

Well it has been extended for another 11 episodes, so they have plenty of time to start something new. If it hadn't been extended, and that had indeed been the season finale, then it would have been unlikely to get another season, so tying everything up was a good idea. Since they extended it, they must be happy with it. Especially since the original option was for 9 extra episodes, and they actually ordered 11. They must feel it's doing something right, which can only be a good thing as far as a possible 5th season is concerned.

IIRC a similar thing happened last season and everyone was worried the 2nd half wouldn't be good.. but it so was!

I do like the structure of these seasons. They seem to have a season finale in the middle of every season. I like how it works and it means that a storyline does not have the opportunity to get stale [though it can come close].

I liked the ending too [though I was convinced the janitor at the end would turn and shoot Sarah or Chuck!]

Showrunners confirm they designed it to be a series finale, in case they got axed: http://www.tvline.com/2011/02/spoiler-alert-chuck-bosses-on-volkoffs-return-a-chucksarah-wedding-and-season-5/

    Nothing short of legend!

great episode, i didnt watch it yesterday as chuck was kinda falling down my priority list, but damn if that wasnt awesome, ive kinda been hating chuck this season but TBF i was probably just pissed off at how slow it was moving 13 episodes in 19 weeks kinda broke it up to much, i think its a problem all shows have been sufferig this year, the networks would wanna get some god damn consistency to there airing patterns,

    anyway rant over,

this episode really showed how far chuck has come and even morgan (who would have thought:p), i was actually expecting chucks dad to appear even though he wasnt in the credits, i just didnt think chuck had that good a grasp of his fathers work, and i love the fact he still refuses to use bullets,

also nice to mammy bartowski and sarah working so well as a team, will be interesting to see how there relationship plays out now that they both have there lives back,

jeffster still kinda annoyed me (not as much, but still a bit) and i was happy they got hauled away before baby awesome was born, talk about not being given a chance :D,

i cant wait to see how the next 11 episodes will play out, id say if anything well see chuck and sarah getting hitched at the very end, and hopefully well get to see what married life is like for them in season 5, id love to see morgan propose to alex just for the look on caseys face alone:D,

    12/10

I only got around to watching this today, as Chuck hasn't been high up on my priority list this season as it was last year, but that was a great episode. Hopefully the rest of this season can be this good. At the moment, whether it gets the 5th season or not, I don't really mind - 4 seasons is good going these days, but I hope they just keep the rest of this season as good as that episode - it had been getting a bit boring up until now.

As a side note on the subject of a 5th season, even though it doesn't get great ratings, I reckon its still in with a good chance for renewal - NBC dramas on a whole are doing badly, and Chuck is probably one of the most consistent of the NBC dramas - they can't cancel everything, so on that basis it'll probably be kept around for another year at least. If it was on CBS, Fox or ABC it would, without a doubt, be gone, and its the type of show that will always be on the bubble, but the Chuck bubble isn't as likely to pop as all the rest.

Good points. As I read somewhere, with ratings all over the place 'steady' is the new 'runaway success'.
Great episode, back on form. I've said it before, but i'll say it again Morgan Rocks!
    Loved jeffster's choice of song!

Just saw this episode today. Brilliant stuff, so many good moments - more than in the rest of the season so far in fact. It's way better when Chuck and Sarah are not on screen together.
