Mounting Projector Screen w/ Homemade Batten...

Due to the positioning of the studs on the wall I want to mount my projector screen, I need to have it mounted to a custom-made batten and *then* mounted to the wall.

I'm willing to pay someone for this as, although I'd be willing to give it a crack myself, I *definitely* wouldn't be able to do as good as job as someone who knows what they're doing! :)

I'm just wondering who exactly I should look for... I'm keen to go the self-employed option (carpenter / cabinet maker, perhaps). All I want is someone who will do a professional, careful job. They don't need to have a tech / AV background or interest - they just need to put it up neatly, symmetrically and give it a nice finish.

Does anyone have any recommendations of what type of person I should start looking for? I'm in Portmarnock, so any recommendations are welcome!

Also, if you've any suggestions on what I should ask for, please fire away. It's a manual screen, so what I'd like is a batten made (perhaps painted the same colour as the wall as well) that will neatly fit between the wall and the screen's mounts. I don't think I really need anything else... Do I? :)

    Thanks in advance!

Unfortunatley, nobody seems to have responded here. In case anyone else stumbles across it though, I contact Erraught Furniture (http://www.dublinfurniture.ie) and they fit a batten of MDF perfectly into the bay window for me.

I'm in the process of sanding it down and painting it before I screw the screen into it. I can highly recommend Erraught Furniture; Michael was extremely helpful and the end result was very professional & clean.

what kind of projector mount did you buy?

im finding it hard to find one for a decent price to do the job, they vary from 20 euro up past 100 euro which seems...excessive
