Anybody using an iPhone or iPad to control their central heating?

Looking to replace the manual time clock on my central heating to one that can be controlled by iPhone or iPad.
If anybody has any recommendations, could they please let me know?

Depends how advanced you want to do it. You can go for a simple one you can ring up and use a dial pad. Or you can get Ethernet switched relays. To be honest, its a great idea but I don't know of any "out of the box" systems.
Also, to be any use you'd want to be able to connect it to the internet. Which would entail a DynamicIP and the security issue with having your central heating available for all to see.
Do you want to simply switch on and off, or do major controlling? Also, remember that if you iPad / iPhone breaks, it ain't gonna keep you warm
