Can I get Broadband only from UPC and keep my analogue connection

I currently have analogue TV from UPC and want to get broadband only from them.

They are telling me I must upgrade to Digital TV which I don't want right now

The estate is cabled for digital so I would have thought that a new wire from the connector box on the fascia should be capable of delivering broadband only.
    Thanks

Why exactly would you not want digital television, since you get more channels? The analogue still remains on the service even if you chose digital.

But probably best to ask in the cable forum.

    Why....?
Multi room analogue is cheaper than multi room digital.

Mods pls move to cable if appropriate. Thank you

ok tell them you just want broad band with no tele. They'll charge about seven euro extra as it's only one service. But the best part is that they can't turn off the analog signal so you'll still have it till they stop broadcasting in analog.
You do realise they only charge five euro for each multi room.

Thanks for this, the website says
"Price shown is when added to an existing TV connection. Otherwise a Fibre Power Broadband Standalone Charge of €7.75 a month applies. "

so I will argue that this does not apply:p

if you get one digital connection you could still distribute the analog signal. It comes in with the same feed.

Yep. The digital is only the box.
